Hello I'm Patty! A lifelong artist and storyteller who fell in love with filmmaking. I pride myself on my passion for the pre-production work that many filmmakers avoid.
Whether I'm training young filmmakers or producing my own independent films, my love for production planning is always evident. I'm motivated by the thought of pushing the boundaries of my creativity and assisting other purpose-driven artists in bringing their visions to life.

Sharing my knowledge with the next generation is essential to my story and my identity as a creative. I served as a high school English teacher for 8 years before transitioning to work in Media full time. Now I train young adults who wish to pursue film and other media arts professionally.

Filmmaker
I made my first film my senior year in high school. After my senior internship at Walter Reid Medical Center came to an end, there were still a couple of weeks left of school so my friends and I used our free time and the hallways of C.H. Flowers High School to make a, more funny than scary, Zombie film. Now I use my time and resources to make independent films with the amazing filmmakers I've met along my professional journey.

Storyteller
Literature was my first love because novels allowed an introverted child the opportunity to learn about other people's experience of life, without the pressures of socializing. I believe that an early love for reading deserves some credit for my analytical approach to character development in the story writing process.
